About the Artist
"Every work of art contains intangible factors which involve contributions of the subconscious mind. They are projections of the mind and personality of the artist."
Steve Defenbaugh was born in Colorado and has lived in various parts of the United States. His travels have taken him to China and Europe.
"It is the appreciation of cause and effect that influence our experience. Any formal principles on which art is based can be traced directly to the basic human desire for order. The general concepts of a work of art are structure and expression."
Steve's artwork is consignment based and currently being sold through the Leawood Fine Art Gallery. His pieces have also been sold at charitable auctions benefiting The Boys & Girls Club, Operation Breakthrough and Heartland Saddle Club for Kids.
