Anthony Turpin was born in Chicago in 1938 and was raised in Southern California.  He attended the University of California, Berkeley and was a student at the University of Rome, Italy. Turpin also served in the Navy from 1961-1966 and later attended the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles where he was enrolled in Graduate Studies program of Fine Art.

Turpin put on many one-man shows in Seattle and California throughout the 70's and 80's earning awards in major Northwest competitions. He now works in private and corporate venues and resides on Whidbey Island, Washington.
