Mario Sanzone was born in Italy on May 11th, 1946.  He attended the Fine Art Academy in Naples where he continues to live and work. After finishing his studies, he dedicated himself to painting and has steadily built up his career taking part in many successful exhibitions in Italy and abroad. His subjects vary from landscapes to coastal views to stilllife.  His original technique has received great acclaim from the critics as well as from the public, especially for the luminous colours and vitality of his palette. His works can be found in private collections in Europe and the United States.
