I was born with an artist's heart.  Recently I have taken steps to make the dream of being an artist come true.  I work in glass, mixed media and photography.  As a self-taught full time artist, I have discovered a true passion and a happiness I have never before experienced.  I truly hope that is reflected in my work. You will find much of my work filled with color, contrast and texture with dualities in function and design.  You may find an element of all three mediums in a single work.  It may appear that a piece is within a single medium but it often includes inspiration and influence from others.  I am a proud Kansas native, with a BS in Bus. Admin. from Emporia State University.  I am the mother of three awesome young men and I enjoy living and creating in Parkville, Missouri.  I am a member of the Kansas City Artist's Coalition and the Kansas City Clay Guild.  I am also a founding member/musician with the Parkville Symphonic Band for the past 15 years.  Art and music are my passions.
